History

Our church was founded in 1951 under the late Bishop George Ebright in Milwaukee, WI. Shortly after, he moved back to his hometown of Mishawaka, IN and began a new church in their home. In 1977, he retired and his son, Rev. Gene Ebright began pastoring. In 2011, Pastor Ebright passed away and Pastor Nick DeCicco became our leader. Pastor Ebright’s devoted wife remains at FAC serving along side Pastor and Sister DeCicco. The church has been in 3 locations in Mishawaka since moving out of the Ebright home. The first building was a block south of their home on Francis Avenue. Pastor Gene Ebright moved the church to Mishawaka Avenue in the 1994, and now we are located on York Street.

We Believe

We must first “believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” (Heb 11:6). We practice the message heard on the day of Pentecost, stating we should repent, be baptized in Jesus Name for the remission of sins, and we shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38). We believe that signs, miracles and wonders will follow them that believe (Mark 16:17-18). We believe in striving to become closer to the Lord every day (Phil 3:14). We believe the greatest commandment is to love God with all our heart, soul and mind and the second is like it: to love our neighbor as our self (Matt 22:37-40) .
